Sync Services Without Core Data Demystified

Saturday, 06 September 2008

If you have read the Sync Services documentation then you know it is complex. Let me dispel an illusion right away. It is hard. It is not poor documentation, syncing is very hard and very few people get it right.

Sync Services are really hard and messy to implement, but it’s really worth it. If I buy a new shareware application I always look if the app provides some syncing capabilities. I think this is an important functionality, especially in these days where you have more than one device you use.
